When does my credit card get charged?
Your credit card will get charged 24-72 hours after you place your order. We have a "Pre-pay" policy to protect ourselves from fraudulent orders.

We will arrange for your order to be shipped via the most quickest and safe way possible. ModernEuroDesign works hard to find the best price for shipping to your area by working with multiple carriers. We continuously work with nationwide shipping companies, as well as privately owned shipping companies specializing in furniture delivery in the United States. Normal deliveries will arrive in two to four weeks. In addition, we always have our own trucks on standby for quick deliveries near our warehouse and distribution center. 

Our main shipping facility is located in Brooklyn, NY. For customers living within the 5 boroughs of New York City (Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx and Staten Island) shipping is free or sometimes very minimum, depending on your exact location. All other areas can email us or log in to the website for a freight quote. 

Standard shipping is a curbside local delivery to your building. You are responsible to bring the merchandise into your home, however we offer delivery service, where drivers can bring the merchandise into your home and assemble it. To utilize this service simply write in the comments section of the order form that you want to utilize the delivery service and specify if you have an elevator building or how many flights of stairs you have. We will contact you with quotes before we schedule your delivery date. 

All merchandise is shipped out in a box with instructions on how to assemble the goods. All hardware and necessary tools and/or keys come in the package.

Standard Freight Ground Shipping (United States)
All deliveries are scheduled for shipment by carrier by phone in advance, so please leave your secondary number in case we cannot reach you at your primary number. You must provide a daytime phone number, the carrier will not schedule the final delivery until they speak with you by phone.

To request delivery and assembly service in a non-local area, you could leave a comment while checking out. We will contact you prior to shipping.

ModernEuroDesign is not responsible for any possible changes in inventory at our warehouses. We cannot guarantee that a given item is in stock. We will however work closely with our purchase department to make sure your order is shipped as soon as possible if you choose to keep your items on back-order. If your item is in stock, the order is shipped within 5-7 days. Transportation time takes 3-9 days depending on your location. If the product is not available, we will contact you within 24 hours. All orders will be professionally packaged and if needed, crated to ensure they arrive in the pristine new condition you desire. Please take the arrival of your shipment seriously, as we want you to love the experience of shopping with ModernEuroDesign as much as you're going love your new furniture. Packing materials and other packing expenses are already factored into the shipping price. We take great pride in our packing and shipping precautions. Your larger furniture pieces will arrive on a pallet to prevent "manhandling" which is the most common cause of damage to the furniture. The driver must wait for you to open all the freight, please do not sign anything until you have made a full inspection and you are completely satisfied with the condition of your furniture.

What if my furniture arrives damaged?
This is highly unlikely. We take very good care of packing and less than 3% of shipments get any damages. But in the rare event damage does occur in shipping it is the customer’s responsibility to open and inspect their order to ensure it is damage free upon arrival. All damage must be noted on the freight bill in order for you to receive prompt replacement. Please also call or e-mail us to notify us of said damage so we can begin the replacement process as quickly as possible at no charge to you. In case of damage, here is what you will need to do. When the freight company delivers your freight, you will need to inspect the outside packaging. If you notice any damages you will need to indicate that on a bill of lading. When you open the packaging, should you notice any damages or defects, please note the damages on the delivery report. No damaged claims will be accepted without notes on the delivery receipt and signed by driver. All damages must be noted on the freight bill in order for you to receive prompt replacement. We will ask you to email us a couple of digital pictures showing the damage, and we will work with you to resolve all issues until you are completely satisfied. We will either fix the damaged item at our expense, or send you a replacement part or the whole item. When the order leaves our warehouse, you will receive tracking information along with detailed step-by-step instructions on how to accept delivery of your furniture. Please make sure to provide correct e-mail addresses for your order.

Returns
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange the item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your purchase. Items must be returned in new, unused condition, and in its original packaging. This product is subject to a restocking fee if returned for reasons other than damage. A credit will be issued upon proof of return shipping and inspection of the item less a 20% restock fee and any return shipping costs. The restock fee may be waived if exchanging for another item of same or greater value. 

We base our customer purchases on the policy that "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" unless of course the rare case occurs in which your furniture is either damaged or defective, where we exchange damaged pieces.

If you wish to return or refuse your order, you are welcome to do so. However, you will be responsible for actual freight BOTH ways in addition to the 20% restocking fee. You can return the item using the shipping carrier of your choice. Once we receive the return, we will refund your account the product price minus the 20% restocking fee. Original freight will not be refunded. Here at ModernEuroDesign, we pride ourselves on our customer satisfaction and it is an extremely rare occurrence that our customers wish to return furniture simply for the sake that it is not what they wanted. We encourage our customers to be informed of furniture specifications and common material (types of woods, fabrics, etc.) used, but the quality of the furniture you purchase from ModernEuroDesign Furniture for the price you pay is second to none. ModernEuroDesign guarantees high quality furniture and it shows in our online catalog and offers modern models to the public.

Customized orders cannot be returned due to their uniqueness.

IMPORTANT: Please do not discard furniture packaging until you are certain there is no damage to the furniture. No furniture can be exchanged or returned without its original factory packaging.

Refunds
Any refund issued will be in the same manner as they were received. Payments by cash or check will be issued as a refund check from ModernEuroDesign within 5-10 business days of your cancellation.
