How much is shipping?

To calculate shipping, add the items to your cart and press "Update." Delivered prices will be shown including any volume discounts that may apply for your order. Rates are different depending on total size/weight/distance of order and certain geographic locations.  

Do you have a store / showroom?

We do not have a physical store front; selling online is a more efficient business model that allows us to offer a much larger selection and better prices than most retail stores. No, we are an online furniture store and we sell directly from the manufacturer to the end user. We have no high rent glitzy showroom, no large sales staff, and effective advertising - which means very little overhead. This allows us to pass along to customers a substantial savings.

Where do you ship?

ModernEuroDesign ships everywhere within the 48 continental states of the United States. We ship outside of the United States only if you are a member of our Container Program. To become a member or get additional information regarding this program, please contact us at 1-800-656-8121.

Can I get an inside delivery?

Yes, for an additional fee we can arrange an inside delivery, but it depends on your situation and is evaluated on a case by case basis. Please leave a note during checkout process. We will contact you with the options on assembly for your order. Since we manually search for the best price, quotes for white glove service are not available online. See also White Glove Delivery below.  

What is White Glove Service?

Stress-free delivery provided by professional furniture delivery experts. Remote areas may not be serviced or could experience delivery delays, call for more details. Includes inside placement in room of your choice and two flight of stairs, additional services may require additional charges. You choose the room and our delivery experts will deliver your new furniture right where you want it! Items will not be unboxed, unpackaged, or assembled. Please inspect your delivery prior to signing off on the paperwork. If there are any issues with your delivery you must call us while the carrier is present. Please inspect the merchandise thoroughly prior to the delivery agent's departure. The delivery company will exercise due care at all times while on the property or in the residence of the member, leaving no debris or packaging materials behind. White Glove Delivery Service is available in most areas within the Continental US. Additional delivery fees are required if you are located outside of a regular delivery service area. If you are located outside of the regular delivery service area you will be notified by email of additional delivery charges before your order is shipped. Extraordinary delivery conditions may require an additional fee to be paid.  

Can you ship to APO / FPO addresses?

Sorry we cannot ship to APO / FPO addresses. Our cartons are too large. You may want to ship to a friend or relative who can then forward your shipment.  

Do you ship to Canada, Hawaii and Alaska?

If ordering from Canada, Alaska or Hawaii there may be additional charges, we will contact you with details if additional shipping / handling is due before processing your order. Not all items can be shipped and sometimes a freight forwarder is needed and that would be at the additional expense of the customer. We will do everything possible to help you, please call our customer service team for more details, or simply place your order and we will contact you with additional information.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Do you provide any type of financing options?

Yes, we offer layaway plans. Please visit our Special offers page to find detailed information on how layaway plans work.  

What Is Your Warranty/Guarantee Policy?

All Products are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us for help with warranty issues for products you purchased through our company.  

Who Handles Customer Service?

We strive to carry quality brands and deliver your new furniture in perfect condition. If you need service on furniture, we will do everything we can to help you. The manufacturer usually handles part replacements, etc. There will be a note in the literature that comes with your new furniture that will direct you who to call in the event that service or replacement is needed. If this information is not available, please contact us for assistance. We will do everything we can to make sure you are satisfied.  

What is the Cancellation Policy?

If we are able to cancel your order before it is produced and/or shipped, there is not a charge for the cancellation. If the product has been shipped, you will be responsible for all inbound and outbound shipping charges. These charges will be deducted from your refund. Cancellations or returns must be authorized in advance. Please contact us and we will assess the situation.  

Are finish colors accurate?

We do our best to accurately show the finish colors of each piece we carry, however colors can vary by personal perceptions, monitor type and age, video card differences and printing variations. We pick our vendors very carefully. We require that they stock the furniture, package it to arrive safely and provide excellent service after the sale if needed. Also please understand that sometimes furniture does go on back order. We are entirely dependent on our suppliers to relay back order information. Please be understanding when these rare situations arise. Thank you

Is there a local retail outlet or warehouse where I can see your furniture?

No there isn't, that is the reason our prices are so affordable though. You might be able to view furniture we sell at your local retail furniture store (usually for much more money). We sell exclusively from our online website and our warehouse is for local customer pick-up & storage purposes only.

How much do you charge to deliver?

Please log in to our website to check quote online. Create account and add the product(s) to the shopping cart. Shipping information is available on the step 1 of checkout process. Rates are different depending on total size/weight/distance of order and certain geographic locations.

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax applies only for the New York State residents.

How long does it take to get my furniture once I place an order?

Most of the furniture that we offer are stocked in our New York warehouse facility, and could be shipped out or picked up immediately. Some products are stocked in FL, IL, CA warehouses and will be shipped directly to the customer depending on your geographical location. For the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts) delivery can be as soon as next day to a maximum of one week. Click here to see the local delivery zone map. Our trucks follow a specific delivery schedule, so actual delivery days and times may vary. We have our own trucks to assure our local customers a safe and fast delivery.

For non-local customers, delivery is usually 7-14 days, unless you get notified otherwise.

How will I know when my furniture will be delivered?

Once we ship out your furniture, we will send you an e-mail with all the tracking details. You will be able to track your delivery online or contact the freight company over the phone. When the furniture arrives to the local terminal, you will be contacted for an appointment by shipping company ahead of time so that you can plan your schedule accordingly. They will call you a day prior the delivery to make an appointment. Please contact us if you for some reason haven't receive shipping information.

What does delivery include?

For standard deliveries, our courteous drivers will deliver your furniture to the front door of your residence or garage. They do not take furniture up or down stairs inside the residence; they do not assemble furniture or take it out of its original factory packaging; we do not remove old furniture or move your existing furniture from one room to another.

Does your furniture require assembly?

Although many of our items are already assembled, some furniture may require assembly. Assembly is easy and any necessary tools and simple instructions are included. Items such as dressers, night stands, armories, sofas, loveseat, living room chairs, and sectionals do come assembled. ModernEuroDesign.com offers assembly service at extra cost, please contact us for quotes.

Do you provide inside placement? I'd like my furniture delivered inside and installed.

For all our customers we offer delivery and assembly service, where drivers can bring the merchandise into your home and put it together at an extra charge. If you want to get white glove service, please leave a note during checkout process. We will contact you with the options on assembly for your order. Since we manually search for the best price, quotes for white glove service are not available online.

How good is furniture packed?

All of our furniture pieces are securely packed using foam, cardboard and shrink wrap as they travel directly from the factory. All orders will be professionally packaged and if needed, crated to ensure they arrive in the pristine new condition you desire.

Will ModernEuroDesign match prices from other sellers?

Yes, find the products in our online catalog and click on "Report a price" button 

Do I have to buy entire sets of furniture or can I purchase items individually?

Yes, you can buy items individually in almost all cases. Most sets are available as individual items, but if it's not listed, contact us and we will help you with your order!

Do bedroom sets include mattresses as shown in pictures?

The mattresses that are shown with the bedroom sets are for display purposes only and are not included unless otherwise stated. Mattresses are available for purchase. If product is sold as set or package deal, we always say what pieces included in the advertised price. Many of our products have additional options at the bottom of product description, where you can add matching furniture.
